NA Group is one of the oldest private sector organizations in Bangladesh. Mr. Shah Alam Chowdhury established the company in Chittagong, in 1972, after the Liberation War.

Within a decade, NA Group became a leading industrial establishment. Shah Alam Chowdhury established industries in Garments, Textiles, Brick field, Agriculture, Private Container Terminal and Agriculture: as well as in Constructions and Fuel Gas.
